If only you could hear Chad sing this ...
This time, This place
Misused, Mistakes
Too long, Too late
Who was I to make you wait
Just one chance
Just one breath
Just in case there's just one left
'Cause you know,
you know, you know
That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I miss you
Been far away for far too long
I keep dreaming you'll be with me
and you'll never go
Stop breathing if
I don't see you anymore
On my knees, I'll ask
Last chance for one last dance
'Cause with you, I'd withstand
All of hell to hold your hand
I'd give it all
I'd give for us
Give anything but I won't give up
'Cause you know,
you know, you know
So far away
Been far away for far too long
So far away
Been far away for far too long
But you know, you know, you know
I wanted
I wanted you to stay
'Cause I needed
I need to hear you say
That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I forgive you
For being away for far too long
So keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
Hold on to me and, never let me go
If we can't find a way out of these problems
Then maybe we don't need this
Standing face to face
Enemies at war we build defenses
And secret hiding places
I might need you to hold me tonight
I might need you to say it's alright
I might need you to make the first stand
Because tonight I'm finding it hard to be your man
Hey
More than angry words I hate this silence
It's getting so loud
Well I want to scream
But bitterness has silenced these emotions
It's getting hard to breathe
So tell me isn't happiness
Worth more than a gold diamond ring?
I'm willing to do anything
To calm the storm in my heart
I've never been the praying kind
But lately I've been down upon my knees
Not looking for a miracle
Just a reason to believe ...
Still holding on ... senselessly ... with open arms and an open mind...
Goodnight

We have indulged in basement cricket in our pg. It is, without any hint of doubt, fun.
Arneja, in trying to be a little too flamboyant, smashed a glass bulb in a glass casing to smitherines yesterday.
This was followed by Dhand literally charging into a door (in the basement) in his attempt to steal a single and smashing its hinges to smitherines.
The major difference between the two events was the sound. It was amplified in both cases, as one would expect, however, a crash was heard in the first instance while a more BANG kind of sound was recorded in the second case.
Our landlady has no knowledge of this but I fear things will change in a day or two.
Moving on, now that we have an internet connection here everybody here seems to be bickering over who gets to avail it and when. I have chosen the graveyard shift for myself. I find this particular suited for me since I prefer to ahem … work online (or whichever way you choose to put it )… when I’m alone.
At almost all other times when the sun is up I find myself looking at an orkut logged screen with Mr. Sharma or Mr. Arora hogging the computer.
The word obsession cannot do justice to the hype generated by orkut. The evenings belong to Arneja who, invariably, also logs in before proceeding to mobango.com.
Mention the word orkut in front of him, however. and he swears off it putting the blame solely on me.
In other news, The final track for Rendezvous 2006 is ready. The moves are being finalized with only a few minutes worth of track left to be completed.
This year, thankfully, we have no salsa to murder or a Govinda type Bollywood song to embarrass us and the audience alike. I hereby thank the Lord for sending Saurabh for his internship to
I’m hating typing this post right now so I shall be stopping soon.
I’M ALIVE !!!
…and it feels good.

Another day has just gone by. Ok ok … you’ve probably figured that out for yourself too.
I’ve grown one again.
You can say it breaks the monotony of a semi-long term routine.
Sometimes you need to be extravagantly inane to bring about change and I shall pass that for my excuse.
In other news I have been spending reasonable amounts of time on the roof of our PG. We occupy two rooms situated on the top floor here and atop the top floor awaits a view of the surroundings that is breathtaking. It gets especially pleasing after the clock strikes 7:00. The ever blowing breeze runs through your hair and the world literally sits beneath your feet.
I’ve been singing the acoustic version of All the Small Things sitting up there by myself and you may take my word when I say … Singing this song softly with the intro riff as karaoke puts you in a different world.
Typing the previous post was liberating. Very.
It’s good to be back again. Let’s see if I can keep this up.

The reasons for the long pause are numerous and irrelevant to this post.Warnings about the pause had been issued well in advance.
I finally have a broadband connection at Noida which is cause enough for celebration.
I shall excuse myself from writing in detail for now for there is much to write about and the very thought of that scares me.
It is 12:54 AM and it is imperative that I get sleep in order to face the hectic line of events that I have lined up for me ensue tomorrow.
I hope to write a little more frequently but I have observed, and thereby established beyond any measure of doubt, that my thoughts flow more clearly when I am alone – mentally, not physically. The problem is that when I am mentally alone, instead of blogging I choose to spend time with myself, with my thoughts, lost in oblivion, disjoint from the world.
If the above line made no sense to you then you are perfectly normal.
If not … learn to take pride in your abnormality.
You win either way.
I shall say goodbye by quoting Elbert Hubbard here :
He who does not understand your silence will
probably not understand your words.
Goodnight
